Ten million social media wonks stared blankly at their screens, thinking, "how am I going to tell all of my close, personal 5,000 friends what I ate for lunch today?"
I kid, I kid. A lot of professionals and an increasing number of businesses reliant on these sites got their work disrupted on August 6. The more interesting question, compared with how it might have happened, is why it happened. Perhaps we'll see some clues as to the motive of the attacker in the coming days.
