Senior Technical Recruiter

Job Purpose: Pacific Coast Information Systems is pleased to be recruiting for a Senior Technical Recruiter to join us as an integral part of the PCIS team. We are seeking someone who understands the delicate balance between sourcing candidates and selling our services. Ideal candidates have a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently as well as superior organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
The primary responsibility of the Senior Technical Recruiter is to manage the full life cycle recruiting process including client engagement, candidate recruitment and placement and account management. You will provide guidance and support to Hiring Managers within client organizations, as well as manage the candidate experience.
Responsibilities will include establishing collaborative relationships with new clients at the executive level, establishing recruiting plans, executing the plans, identifying process improvements, providing guidance to other recruiters, and assisting in developing recruitment strategy and new avenues to attract high caliber technical candidates that will be successful working for our clients
Requirements:
- 3 or more years of recruiting experience
- Experience recruiting candidates in one or more of the following disciplines: software support, sales and technology development and leadership and/or product management
- Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate at the executive level
- Able to consult and influence effectively
- Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
- High level of professionalism, a service orientation, and outstanding organizational skills
- Technical recruiting experience is preferred
- Experience recruiting Canada and US based positions is preferred
- Bachelors Degree is preferred
Duties:
- Lead generation and sales to develop opportunities for arches across North America with a focus on Sales, Software Support, Technology Development, and Product Management.
- Full-cycle recruiting for the client’s open positions: conduct in-depth launch meetings, advertise, recruit, screen, interview, and assess candidates to ensure that only qualified and interested candidates are presented to hiring managers.
- Guide Hiring Managers thru the interview, selection, reference, and offer stages.
- Manage candidate experience including positioning the opportunity & company, conducting phone screens, coordinate interview schedules, summarize feedback, make hiring recommendations, and manage the offer process.
- Successfully track progress on requisitions and candidates within PCIS’ system.
- Manage ongoing relationships with clients and candidates.
- Maintain a focus on the marketplace and communicate market intelligence as appropriate.
- Manage special projects as needed to improve the overall functionality of the Recruiting Organization.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
